A somply staggering, overwhelming, awe-inspiring achievement in videogaming history.
The Elder Scrolls has always been about doing whatever you want, whenever you want, and Oblivion is no exception to this. In fact, there's more to choose from now than ever, and you always feel like an active part of the game world. From the opening movie on, this game drips of lavishness. The love poured into this game is plain to see. From the lush graphics to the meaty SFX and the soaring, grand musical score, you're in for a treat.
Everything about this game is an improvement over Morrowind, the previous game in the series. And believe you me, that is not an easy thing for me to admit. I have been a diehard fan of Morrowind for many years now, but all the small problems and faults I found in that game have been smoothed out here.
The ONLY faults I have found with the game are the exact same faults I found wih the original; it takes a while to load (especially if you don't have a hard drive) and the game occasionally freezes (especially if you don't have an intercooler). It can also be confusing at times, but this is no fault of the game. This is the fault of the games industry, which all to often patronises players with over-simplicity.
I need say no more about this game. If you don't have it, you MUST get it. Even if you think you hate RPGs. This game will change your life.
