Not quite as enjoyable as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, but still a wonderful addition to my Xbox 360 collection.
The biggest feature in this game is its depth. The Elder Scrolls is a series which makes hours upon hours of questing and character building readily available in the hands of the gamer. You are given the ability to create a character from scratch; everything from their gender to their appearance is totally customizable. With this character, you are able to dive into one of the most expansive and vibrant worlds known to man. TO MAN!
Anyways, the combat has been much improved from Morrowind. You are now able to make use of a variety of special attacks which you acquire as your character levels, and block on command. There is a wide variety of weapons which ultimately fall under blades, blunt, and marksman. These weapons come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and designs.
As I mentioned earlier, the game is very deep. There are four main questlines, and hundreds of side and minor quests. I've been playing this game for well over a month now and I can personally attest to the fact that it has seriously taken a nasty bite out of my social life. And that's pretty much the sole fault of this game; it's too deep. If you're the type of person who casually plays video games, like me before getting into The Elder Scrolls series, I would suggest avoiding this game. The audience of this game is comprised of people who are willing to lay numerous hours of their lives down to build their character, and progress in this game.
Overall, I deeply enjoy this game. I've speant well over 100 hours playing, and I'm sure with the constant pumping-out of DLC, I'll be playing for many hours to come.
