A great first foray into the RPG genre.

RPG gaming has never interested me. Since my earlier gaming days where it seemed all the genre offered were JRPGs such as Final Fantasy. These games were dull in my oppinion and the art styles weren't to my liking. As for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, complete role reversal. Interesting Art, gorgeous graphics(The first time I saw the Oblivion realm made my jaw drop) a thoroughly enjoyable main quest and hundreds of hours of side quests. The new combat system is a hit and coupled with funny, and well thought out characters make this game great. The main quest should take an average gamer 5 hours to complete on the standard setting, but skilled gamers can finish it in much less time. The side quests add hundreds of hours, and with the new downloads available on live, this game has one of the lengthiest out there.
