Almost flawless

First I would like to suggest that you play on a high difficulty. The first complaint I heard from a friend, whom I forced to buy it, said that it was too easy and he thought dragons would be harder to kill. I told him to prove he wants a challenge and set it on the highest difficulty. And the game become much more intense as you can die very easily, forcing you to think before you act.
Ok, now on to the review. Skyrim is a wonderful game with tons of options as to what to do or how to play. I play with multiple created characters, mainly because I enjoy different play styles, but also because I truly RP. If I am playing a "lawful good" I won't join the Dark Brotherhood because no good guy would. Unfortunately, the game (as in all TES games) doesn't put any restrictions on the RP so I have to enforce those upon myself. But I get it, they want you to enjoy anything and everything, even if you only play one campaign.
Graphically, the game is beautiful, stunning in some parts, and in close inspection on a few areas, a little ugly. But for the mass amount stuff it's amazing what they were able to do. I often find myself walking to my next objective instead of fast traveling just to see the sights. There are a few glitches here and there but nothing that takes away too much from the overall experience.
Gameplay is fun and there are many, many ways to play. I would say you need to focus on exactly what you want to do, instead of trying to do it all. You only have a certain amount of perks you can level and if you're always trying to level everything you won't be highly skilled at anything, thus taking some of the fun out of it. For example, in my first character, I am a battle mage. I wear heavy armor, highly skilled in destruction magic, one handed attacks, smithing, and restoration. I am not that great being stealthy, lockpicking, and so on, but when it come down to what I do, I am a bad ass!
The game as a whole is almost perfect. It could easily be a 10 if it were not for a few glitches. The great thing is you could take my advice and do nothing with it and still enjoy the game and have a blast. Prepare to pulled away from loved ones, lose sleep, possibly get fired from your job as you'll find yourself wanting to visit Skyrim more and more.
