Games have come too far to be this boring. I rented this game after the reviews. I am glad I did not buy it. AWFUL!

I don't know where to start. I don't know if the limitations of console made this game unbearable. I admit I never really got into old school role playing games. However, I like to think with today's development of software we have made HUGE advances in role-playing games. Maybe I just don't get it, but is GTA, Red Dead, Just Cause, Far Cry a hybrid of old role playing?

I am sure there are gamer out there who actually enjoy the pathetic battle encounters this game presents, but I found JUST AWFUL! It feels like I am playing a game which was made 8 years ago regarding battle mechanics, yet renders a beautiful environment. I endured the game up the point where I went high up on a mountain, avoided the snow beast. Engaged in learning the, "voice" and I was just done. The constant maintenance of removing items from inventory of the same value and worth was tedious and frustrating. Shouldn't my character have enough sense to NOT pick up a duplicate weapon for inventory?.....geez!

This games environment is a wonder to view, but so is the world of, "Just Cause 2 and Red Dead." Once the novelty wears off, the gameplay better step it up! This game falls WAY short in every account when it comes to skill tactics control!
