When you get an add on for a game that has been released for 6 months now and can be played twice you can expect better.

User Rating: 6 | The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard PC
The very first addition to The elder scrolls:skyrim (DAWNGUARD)
is finally released for the PC after a long amount of patience i downloaded the add on and started the quest now at first you join the dawnguard a clan of vampire hunters who suspect that the vampires are up to something so they reunite, you join them and go on a quest in which you find (Serana) who you soon discover that she is the daughter of Lord (Harkon) one the oldest vampires in the world and for returning her to him he gives you the choice to become a vampire lord NOW THIS IS WHERE IT GETS GOOD or bad because you can choose to accept and become a vampire lord or refuse and stay as a member of the dawnguard so when does it get bad....NOW so when you make you're choice you go off on the same questline in the same areas for the same objective no matter which faction you side with HOWEVER it didn't really make a problem for me considering i usually do this type of playthrough only once BUT since i was going to review it i had to do it twice.

The good thing about all this is that serana becomes you're companion (even if you still side with the dawnguard) and she is use full since she never dies and doesn't really get in you're way (much) THE SECOND THING is that being a vampire lord really does make the whole thing easier.

The vampire lord has it's own skill tree and powers and only uses magika powers or hand to hand attacks now i have been hearing about a lot of bugs for the lord on the Xbox version but you will be glad to know that there aren't here in the PC version
so does becoming a vampire lord make you overpowered??? actually yes but since this is SKYRIM you will need all the help you can get.

There are new areas in dawnguard like the souls cairn, dawnguard castle and that other castle the i never remember it's name that's owned by the vampires and all of these areas are huge and nicely designed just one problem WHY THE **** IS IT JUST 5 HOURS DAMN IT i mean seriously if you were going to spend 6 months on an add on atleast make it long but no the development team was lazy two make seperate campaigns or a bit longer I MEAN SURE there are some side quests but none of them were exactly INTERESTING or FUN because all of them are FETCH QUESTS.

I gotta say i am really disappointed of what this is i mean sure the plot is nice but isn't anything new it's like the main game just instead of dragons you get vampires however it really did save the whole thing with the vampire lord thing and the crossbow (sorry for not mentioning that earlier it's the dawnguard weapon) but other than that it's just REGULAR.
