The Evil Within 2 manages to bring a tense, open horror experience that amazingly manages to be fun and creepy at the same time. It is surprising how Tango blended action-oriented gameplay with an open world, scavenger survival system and yet still creates a very gripping, fearful experience. The only slight gripes I have is the story could have been slightly more profound, with some of the voice acting not quite up to par with the rest of the aesthetic excellence of the game. I also wasn't too fond of the games' second act- the villain and setting were slightly stereotypical, especially compared to the other awesome creature designs. With that said, this is a big game, with plenty of goodies and secrets to validate investing in it. Not to be missed.
