I longed so much time to enjoy playing this title and one day I bought it. it's been so much talk about this game and so many positive and negative opinions spread on this that I needed to buy and play it.
You're a detective asked to investigate an incident in Beacon Mental Hospital, Arrived there, things got out of hand and you just got to survive hordes of freaks and monstrosities. You have to use the surrounding in order to escape and flee, sometimes, from facing the danger.
You have to deal with traps made by a psychopath mind. You can improve your weaponry, gear and abilities using the green gel you find all around you or by killing bosses. And there are so many bosses here. It resembles RE4, but the story is different.
The game has so much potential, but it feels chunky at times and the protagonist is not the one to get linked to. You don't feel you're in his shoes. There are good and bad moments there and sometimes you feel it's difficult, the ammo is scarce when playing on survivalist level of difficulty. This level of difficulty is hellish.
Overall, enjoyable and scary at times.
