Better than I expected
- Good sense of speed
- Lots of cars
- Lots of body kits of at least 10 styles per car
- Being able to to put decals anywhere on the car at any angle and size
- Lot of opponents to race
- Engine swaps
- Crap load of rims
- Some pretty good music ranging from j-pop, japanese rap, rock, drum n bass, etc
- Some tutorials to help you out on how to drift and such
- Huge long highways to race on
- Different shops
- Pretty good graphics on the PS2 Cons
- Camera shake effect can get really annoying (cant turn it off)
- Some opponents are realy fast at the beginning
- Some song repeat more than others
- Turn off autosave...saves you a lot of more time between loads
- No progressive scan for the up to date HDTV's
- Not being able to change views with a simple push of a button (Have to pause to chance car view)
- Some things you can't customize like tail lights, inside the car, etc
- No widescreen support
What I've played so far this game actually turned out better than I thought. Though there are some things I wished they put in like supporting at least 480P on my HDTV and supporting widescreen. Other than that this game is pretty good so far and if you like racing games then this game shouldn't be missed. P.S. - Please oh please, don't waist your money on trying to rice your car if you already drive. If your going to fix it up then at least do it right.
