The Flintstones take the cake in this exciting game.

User Rating: 8.7 | The Flintstones: Big Trouble in Bedrock GBA
The Game Boy Advance debut of The Flintstones is a platform adventure that pits Fred against the evil Dr. Sinister. This time, Fred’s pal Barney has gone and gotten himself into a heap of trouble, and Fred’s the only one who can rescue him!

The villain has kidnapped Barney and to rescue his best friend, Fred must make his way through four themed environments, from Bedrock, to a haunted house, to Dr. Sinister's Island, each of which comprises a number of sub-levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and traps to impede Fred's progress. Wilma, Dino, and the kids are willing to help out, but it’s going to take a lot more than cooperation to get out of this pickle

Able to double-jump and perform a turbo dash maneuver, Fred will have to carefully traverse platforms and spike pits while making use of the numerous items that cross his path.

Bowling balls, clubs, cactus coolers, and bronto ribs can be acquired to help keep the pterodactyls, spiders, and malicious paperboys at bay.

Still cut-scenes, accompanied by text, explain the story line and detail the interactions between Fred and familiar Bedrock characters.

Away from the main adventure, players can listen to the many voice samples and music tracks included in the title

The classic animation looks just like a vintage Flintstones episode, and the game play is a throwback to the platform games on the original NES. Whether you’re a fan of the television series or not you’ll have plenty of fun with this game.
