"As Good or Better than the Original"

is is one of those some what common instances in games where you either "love it" or "hate it". In my case, of course, I cannot get enough of the series. One of my favorite games was the original "The Getaway", most of its superficial problems, that so many people had a problem with, made me enjoy it that much more. I loved the story and the voice acting, they don't get any better than that, and its graphics were and still are very impressive for the Playstation 2. And now Sony has released the sequel to one of my all time favorite games, and it still has the ability to impress. I was very happy with some of the additions that they have added to this game, the ragdoll physics, improved graphics and of course a map, it makes it just that much more fun to play. The new sound is as good as its predecesor and I still love the story and voice acting. For those that disliked the original, there is not much more here, so you will probably find the game as big a problem as you did the original. But for me, it's a welcome addition to my ever growing game collection. I give it a 9.2.
