Worth renting - not buying

I am surprised at how low of a score gamespot gave this game. In my opinion, a 4.5 is an untouchable game. If you like GTA and appreciate the godfather films, this is worth a week long rental. I gave this game a 7.5 because it is worth playing but not your best bang for the buck. I wouldn't expect someone to buy this game even for $25. Once you play through for a little while, the game definitely gets old. It was worth the $8.99 rental fee at blockbuster certainly.
The open world is much much smaller than anything seen in the GTA series. This is OK though because the mischief is located at specific points on the map. A bigger city would just force pointless driving from place to place.
The AI is stupid, but it is on both sides of the battle. This fits into the game in m opinion. As a boss, you should be more powerful than all of the soldiers and guards you fight.
