Dissapointing action and card strategy mixture especially for those who already played much better console versions
This game has really great graphics, and mobsters in this game look as great as in console versions.
Sound:
Another great aspect of the game. Voices sound really great, just as in movie.
Gameplay:
Godfather has two different modes: story mode and PSP exclusive Mob Wars mode. Unfortunately, all the story missions consist only of shooting. You alone or with other mobster must enter the building, and while shooting tons of enemies, reach someone marked with X on minimap. The main difficulty here are not the enemies, but an ugly camera, which may show anything but not your enemies so prepare to repeat missions just because you can die very easily while adjusting camera during combat. It's especially seen while entering a house or other room from outside. Also if you don't adjust the camera, you won't be able to auto-aim to your enemies. There are NO DRIVING MISSIONS in this game. You won't drive here at all. It's a huge drawback compared to the console versions, so forget about free-rides and city explorations. The game offers Mob Wars mode instead, which is quite annoying turn-based strategy game with cards. You must defeat all the gangs here. It's not connected to the main story mode except for money and status points.
Difficulty:
This game is quite easy, however always be prepared for unexpected death because of ugly camera control. Since the story is very short, you will be able to complete this game in one day.
Summary:
Short and easy story mode, monotonic shooting missions, turn-based strategy with cards which looks somewhat strange in action-adventure game. However, beautiful cutscenes and superb voice acting can bring some fun for a one day
