An awesome game that follows closely to the original movies.

This game is a great example of a movie made into game. The game follows a character in which you create to go through the story of the Godfather Trilogy. You are a part of the Corleone family and your game goal is to reach the "Don of NYC". Your character will have to do errands for the family, take over businesses, and wage war with other families to advance the ranks of your family. As you may have noticed the game is based in the 1940's New York. The map is huge and is divided into several districts each owned and controlled by a different family. Districts include Hell's Kitchen, Brooklyn, Midtown, and Little Italy. The Corleones own Little Italy and you must take over NYC by force.

The start of the game puts you in a position to help Luca Brasi through a few simple errands and chores. He will generally put you through a tutorial of fighting, shooting and taking over businesses.

Throughout the game, you will meet characters from the movie, like Sonny, Clemenza, Don Vito, Luca Brasi...etc. You can even interact with them as the story unfolds.

What i like about the game is the fighting system because you use the right analog stick to punch and deliver kicks. Also you can take over businesses by threatening the storekeepers with several methods until they give in, then at the end of the week you will receive payment from all your businesses. The music is also from the original trilogy and i love to listen to it.

What i didnt like was how you always had to drive around repeatedly to get things done. the cars are not that fast and the city is huge! sometimes it is frustrating to drive to one point and then have to reach the other point under a certain time limit.
