Borrows Too Much From GTA

User Rating: 7.2 | The Godfather PS2
The Godfather is a game that's base on the 1972 film with the same name. The Godfather isn't a bad game, but it borrows too much from Grand Theft Auto making it rather repetitive at times. Some new feature's of this game doesn't make it all that much exciting. Like the protection fee feature where you have to assault shop keepers until they spill doesn't really add much to the gameplay.

Gameplay: It's too much like the Grand Theft Auto series. Really nothing terribly new and exciting. Some frame rate problems here and there.

Graphics: It's not too bad but IMO, not good enough for this time of year. The character's look good but the environment looks sluggish.

Sound: Great voice acting and sound effects from cars and weapons.

Value: For me, I had to force myself through this game. After playing the GTA series over and over, this feels rather boring, if I can use that word.

Tilt: Hey, its the Godfather. But it's just TOO much like GTA to be wonderfully appreciated.
