"War is Hell", and so is playing through this game.

When i first heard that this game would be released, I was overjoyed. i had been eager to play a Civil War FPS since I saw the movie Gettysburg. Unfortunately, my enthusiasm did not last past the first battle. To veterans of the Call of Duty series, this game wil be very familiar. It has the same graphics as CoD (except for muddy-looking and pixelated trees.), with outstanding animations for the reloading of guns, and the same tight controls. The sound is top notch, with the theme for the movie "Glory" playing during the menu. Also in the game's favor is a very interesting History lesson to set up each level. Despite all of the pro's the one con is unexcusable. For some strange reason, enemies could shoot through practically any cover that I would hide behind. I could even kill an
enemy through a rock. This one problem completely destroys the game, forcing the gamer to take to a run and gun strategy, and making it unbearably frustrating at times. Fans of First Person Shooters should avoid this game altogether (go buy Call of Duty 3), and Civil War Buffs might want to just rent it, if even that.
