i got this game christmas of 03. when i firsted played it, i was in love. my favorite book is the hobbit, so it was pretty cool playing as the main character u learned to love. the story follows the book very well, but leaving some stuff out. the graphics are not the best, but they are some to catch the eye. The voice acting was my personal favorite. Even though it isnt Ian McCellan doing Gandalf, its still great and its easy to the ear. This game doesnt have any replay value, but u can always start a new game, and go through the wonderful game over and over. So if u liked the book the hobbit or if u just like fun games get this game. U go up against the legendary Smaug and Gollum. U can use the magical ring to make ur self invisible, and u also can wield the power of Sting, the elvish sword.
