Great game!! Crazier zombies, insane weapons (uzi & grenade!!), and great graphics!
The plot: James is back, now older, along with an AMS agent, Kate Green. They decide to look for some files, until they experience an earthquake(?). They figure its a terrorist attack, seal the door, and wait for backup. Just then, the sealed door breaks open by brain-eating undeads, and James and Kate have to run for their lives. A little cliched story overall, but still, enjoyable.
Gameplay: Enhanced system--now you can chuck grenades at mobs of zombies or blast at them with your submachine gun. Also, a lot of minigame kinda sequences where the zombies push you down or grab you, in which you have to shake the lightgun until you get free. Reload is really fast, so there isn't any problem shooting 20 zombies that appear simultaneously on screen. Pity that it's slowly starting to lose the surprising element of HOD1 and 2.
Graphics: Just GREAT. Using the xbox360 engine, (i think), it's able to show greater detail and gore.
Sound: They got some new soundtracks in it, but it doesn't really feel like it blends into it. Yet, the zombies sound cool, and that's all that I had really on mind.
Value: Probably a game that you would like to give it a try, but not really something worth playing over and over again. I'm guessing there is a secret ending if you're able to achieve a higher score, so until then, it's worth playing.
