To say that the house of the dead overkill is a bad game is a misjudged statement. True there are many bad points too the game as hardcore gamers will notice straight away: The lack of story mode game play, bonus features and even the fact that the directors mode is just slightly longer than the normal story mode.

I say bah to all these down points and look at the better features of the game. such as: Hilarious humor in the cut scenes, perfect light gun shooter action, unique setting and story and finally a great game for strong believers of high scores and combos.

The first thing i realized after playing a few levels was the simplicity of the game. I mean my gran could of played the game if she wanted to!. It's not a hard game to pick up which makes the multiplayer even better. A maximum of 2 players on story mode and a further two on mini games.

So your probably asking yourself is it worth buying!

Theres only one answer to that, but it's up to you. would recomend this game my self, yes. Plus However i feel that in order to be convinced you should rent it or borrow it from a friend.

A few other great features of the game are:

* Great on rails action
* Spine chilling gore!
* Great storyline
* unique game play and levels

Recommended for core gamers as i feel that the game does not provide enough challenge for hardcore gamers.

In summary A great game for all audience over 18 and for core gamers alike, but beware it's not for the faint of heart!
