I was so glad when they decided to release KOF 2002 and 2003 for the PS2 as a double pack because you're getting two great 2D fighters for $40, versus for paying over $200 for the Neo Geo cartridges. Don't let the graphics of the game turn you off, as the gameplay and the deep fighting system makes up for it. The reason why the graphics are somewhat dated is because the original were released on SNK's Neo Geo (which is roughly over 15 years old) and are pretty good graphics for a system that old. But, the gamplay and the fighting systems is what makes this game very addictive and fun to play. The sound of the two games is good for the sound effects and for characters, but, the music is not that all memorable. The music is just generic old techno type music. But, if you can overlook the dated graphics, there's a lot of fun to had with KOF 2002/2003. It's probably one of the most deep 2D fighters out there, and I would recommend to any 2D fighting game fan or if you already a fan of the KOF series, then, go pick this up.
