King of fighters 98 is still the best fighting game ever created but this game definitely come close

i've been waiting a lot for this game and i have to say that its was definitely worth the wait.as always the fighting system is very deep and there are many characters(including bonus characters for the ps2).
the new tag system is without doubt the best tag system i've seen in any group fighting game.

The graphics are not stunning to be honest but as a 2d fighting game they are definitely good.the graphics are sharp,clean and look good overall

the sound is also good.to me music is very important and at cerain arenas
there are some of the best music i have ever heard in a kof game.
the sound effects and speeches are as good as always.

the control and game-play is great and there are many combos,juggles,cancels and other deep fighting system elemnts that you've come to expect from kof.

the new tag system make this game feel really fresh.
improved from kof 2003, the new tag system makes the fights much more intense,deep,fun and fast. the creators have done a really good job in making a balanced,fair,not cheap and effectice tag system.

overall i always thoghut that the king of fighters in not only the best 2d fighting game searies but the best fighting searies compared to all the other games.the new kof stays true to the kof formula and also add new things which make a great game overall.
if u like kof or fighting games in general do yourself a favour and get this game.its really good
