The game looks and plays fantastic as you would expect with such a big title release at this stage of the PS4 life span. But if you are a fan of TLOU then this "sequal" (if it can rally be called that) is a huge let down. If feels more like a reboot. Without creating spoliers I found I instantly disliked certain charachters, whom you are later fully made to be submerged into, as the game plays out. And you then see so many charachter contradictions as the story unfolds, which often feels patrionsing. And the whole thing has the sense of "woke" sabotage, an indoctrination rather than entertainment, an irritating habit nowadays. It is even more irritating when you spend this much money for it. My advice is wait until the price of this game drops and the deals start rolling out, as if you pick it up cheap then it's still a game worth playing, but do not expect a real squal experience, save your cash.
