The last of Us is a captivating story told by the developers of Uncharted. You play as Joel and Ellie. The game starts out in control of Joel's Daughter Sarah. When they learn that the fungus outbreak has affected there city they make a break for it. Unfortunately she doesn't make it . As the military quarantines them. Joel and his brother Tommy make it out alive. 20 Years pass and you see the world struggle and what others do to survive. and you have whats called The Infected, the creatures taken over by the fungus. Ellie appears with a lady who is trying to protect her. Ellie is the answer to it all, She's been bitten by a one and hasn't mutated. Joel and her set off on a journey to take her to the firefly headquarters to find a cure.

The gameplay is much similar to Uncharted, the only differences between the two games is you can actually use weapons such as pipes boards and baseball bats to attack and those break after so many uses. You can all so create healing items, explosives and shivs. Your heath doesn't restore after time like it does in uncharted you have to heal yourself and that takes time. You also pick up items to make these accessories.

The game does very well to hold your interest and the scenery looks very good for a post apocalyptic setting, in ways it reminds of Enslaved and with that being said you travel across the united states. you end up from Boston clear into Salt Lake City. On the way you meet bandits, the military, The Infected and other humans who would do anything to survive. (yes the game does have cannibals in it.) its all very pleasuring and a satisfying experience overall and I would play a sequel if it was made. But don't expect the ending to satisfy your taste buds, cause either choice faced with the outcome isn't good either way.
