An incredibly underrated game that deserves more credit then it recieves. One of my favorite games of all time.

I'm not entirely sure why such a great game got such low reviews by critics but this game is much better than they let you believe. One of the first things you will notice is that the game has amazing fmv scenes, complete with voice acting, a rare thing for play station games. Another great feature of the game is the innovative and fun combat. Each character possesed a number of unique attacks that could be pulled off with timed button presses, which could be both fun and challenging. Next there are the Dragoon transformations, while they were somewhat similar to power rangers, they were none the less very flashy and fun to watch. These transformations granted new powers to each character which drew upon the elemental dragons in the game. Lastly one of the best things about the game, the story. This game has a very engaging story with some truly memorable characters, including the protagonist Dart, the damsel in distress Shana, the honorable Lavitz, and among others my personal favorite character the old martial artist Haschel. Overall this game is definitely a classic and an amazing game.
