The graphics are great even without the FMV. The battle system is superior. And the sound is top notch. This is the best game i ever played out of like 200 (including ps3 games) This is the very first good game i got for my ps1 and still is the best until now. I have never experienced a story like this one. I still remember it since 2000. The story alone makes you want to keep on playing. If you like rpgs, especially ones with good stories, this is the best game you will ever buy. The best game i ever played since 2000. You never get bored from start to finish. even if you hate random encounters
ps: i hope they come out with a sequel!
