Great old school style. Bad translations. If you are looking for the good old days, buy it. Otherwise, just rent it.

Phenomenal graphics, great gameplay, fun battle system, and a very old school feel. If you remember playing RPGs like Secret of Mana, Earthbound, and the Dragonquest games, pick this up. If you are just looking for the new flashy RPG, avoid this. This is one for all the classic gamers.

The key to this game is its simplicity. The easy to learn system makes it easy to get into. The simple story (except for the rediculous names) makes it easy to stay with. And the fun characters make it very enjoyable. Pick this one up if you are looking for a game you can play for a half hour then set down (although it is definatly playable for long periods of time). It is in depth, without it being complicated.
