Legend of Heroes: A Tear of Vermilion is your basic japanese-style RPG with a few quirks to make you appreciate the experience. For example, after the initial load time of about 15-20 seconds, there is not a single load time to be found. However, the graphics are basic, uninspired sprites that move across the screen. The game's music loops often, and is sometimes infinitely irritating. However, do not let the graphics or sound turn you away from this deep, rewarding experience. There is about 20-60 hours of gameplay, depending on how much treasure hunting you do, and the classic boy-loses-sister-during-an-attack-and-goes-on-a-quest-looking-for-her-and-gets-involved-in-some-sinister-plot story arc. This game is definitely one of the first good classic RPGs to hit the PSP yet, and I recommend it to anyone who has a PSP.
