If you've played any RPG game before then you've played this one already, although the storyline was quite compelling.

I hate to bash this game, because i really did enjoy it, but the very basic combat system, and item features are pretty much just like any othe rpg. The only thing in my opinion that made Legend of Heroes worth it, was the storyline and personalities of the different characters you encounter. If the game had some extra polish and time spent on it, then It probably wouldn't have been so bad. But in an RPG game you spend most of the time fighting in battles, so the battle system has to be something enjoyable, this game makes it feel more like a chore than an epic fight. Other than your character's "Deadly" and "Skills" moves, there's nothing that unique to the battle system.
I enjoyed this game for the story and that's about it. But considering it's one of the few RPG games out there for the PSP, i'd recommend it if you're a diehard RPG fan looking for a decent story while you're on the crapper.
