I actually started playing this game in the arcade before it even came out on the NES. I remember being so excited when it did come out for the NES, and played it constantly in my younger days. The graphics and sound are nothing to write home about, but the game-play (for an old-school gamer) more than makes up for it. This game is really challenging and ideal for a quick 10-15 minute gaming session. If you do happen to beat this game, it may take 20-25 minutes or so. I am unsure whether or not I would enjoy this game if I just picked it up for the first time on the Wii. I'll be honest... I probably would not like the game. I am actually guessing that the bad user reviews are most likely new gamers who had never played this game before. I will say that I do have a lot of fun playing it on the Wii, but I am an old-school gamer who was playing this game many moons ago. I might have to recommend this game to old-school gamers only. I think new-school gamers might have a hard time dealing with the short comings of this title. On the other hand, if you remember playing this game at all back in the day, it may be the best $5 you spend in a long time.
