This little game is pretty action packed. It might turn off some Spyro fans with its heavy emphasis on combat, but I think it's really fun. All the enemies have elemental weaknesses that you have to exploit by switching your powers on the fly. This adds a lot of depth to the combat and really sets it apart from the console version. In the console version you can use your most powerful attack for most of the game and there's really no reason to even use half you powers . Also, the DS version has these light beam puzzles that are fun and become quite challenging. Unfortunately, the nice looking boss battles are kinda boring. Overall, this game represents a good value for Spyro fans who want a portable version of their favorite purple dragon.
