It is hard to go wrong with Spyro. The little purple dragon has been in some very fun games and this is one of them. The controls are easy to learn and there are plenty of different creatures to blast. He has 4 different types of breath attacks. Each one works better on certain types of creatures. The graphics are very nice to look at though some times it would be nice to have a closer view of the action. It would have made is feel a little more like some of the old console games. Still it doesn't get boring blasting your way through the levels. The highlight of this game though is the 3D boss fights. You are in flight the whole time and it is extremely fun to play. It is a nice treat as something different from the main levels. The cut scenes are also some of the nicest ones that have been on the DS. The only downside to this game is its length. It is way too short. Compared to some of the old console games and GBA games, this takes no time at all to complete. This game could have been a lot more then what it is. Hopefully they can improve on this for the next one. Overall it was a fun game especially for Spyro fans, but was definitely way too short.
