Ok, gamespot thinks it sucks, i think it's bad and good all at the same time. Spyro: a new beginning was never possibly going to be as good as let's say games like Rypto's rage and we all knew that because those were spyro's golden days! Gamers these days start to scratch there heads if you talk about games like spyro and crash bandicoot. But enough of my nostalgic moaning, let's get to the review... While the storyline of spyro:ANB does disappoint me in a way, because we get to do what we had to do 8 years ago, the gameplay and design charms me the longer i play the game, mostly because of the epic (I THINK IT'S GREAT, YES) slow motion combo scenes... A thing about the story that kind of satisfied me in a way is that they slightly changed spark's history, and spyro's to. Another thing about the game that really, really let me down was the enemy design... Funny and amusing in the beginning, but when you get to other, very different area's you will undoubtly notice that the half- buffoons you're fighting almost did'nt change A THING AT ALL. It's just like Nicolas Cage's face! Never changes! Yes, there are many things in this game that sometimes almost spoils the fun for you, but there are so many things that 'll make it all up! Blame me gamespot, but i think sierra did a good thing with this one, and especially if you're a fan, this game won't let you down. Especially not the epic slow- mo combo's in the air.
