An Exceptional Collection.

User Rating: 9.3 | The Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition GC
What can I say? This collection of games is practically perfect. It works especially well for those fans that were never able to play the first two Zelda games due to lack of interest or not having an NES. Also if, by chance, you have never played Ocarina of Time or Majora’s Mask, this disc would also be superb. The first game, The Legend of Zelda, is an all time classic. There is not too much plot line to drive the story, per say, just that you are a hero on a mission to save a princess. What could be better! The game itself is fairly difficult to beginners but is worth the time mastering. Every Zelda fan should have beat this game at least once. The second on the disc is Zelda II. It is different from any Zelda game made: It is a side-scroller and not an aerial view. It is fairly challenging considering how different the controls are from the others, but it is still definitely worth the trouble. The third game in the collection is Ocarina of Time. This one is the giant. Everyone likes this game (I hope) even those who hate Nintendo for whatever reason. I is the first 3-D Zelda game, first put out for the N64. Once you play this one, you’ll realize what the buzz is all about. The last full game is Majora’s Mask. This one is a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, though it can be played on it’s own. You will get more out of it if you play OoT first. The game itself runs on a different time system than the other games, which plays directly into the story line. It does take getting used to and can get frustrating, but is good overall. Finally, there is a 20 minute demo of The Wind Waker. This I could have done without. First of all I already own the game and second you can’t get enough done in 20 minutes to get you introduced to the game, especially if you are a newb. All in all, this game is worth what you have to go through to get it. Considering that it is a promo disc, you’re best bet is Ebay. If you are debating whether to purchase or not, I would highly recommend it.
