Zelda Fanboys beware! I'm back with a vengence! Majora's Mask is yet another pathetic excuse for a game...
Why: Simply put, Majora's Mask is basically the same as Orcana of Time, save for a few minor (and relatively un-interesting and un-imaginative) subtle plot significances that only the truest fanboy would even care about. The game is about an evil mask that possesses a kid to do it's bidding and the player only has three days to save the world. Sounds interesting I know, but the execution of this wonderful storyline takes a drastic, and dare I say it, Zelda-typical turn for the worst.
You do indeed have only three days to save the wonderful citizens of clocktown (and the surrounding areas) from a giant moon that is falling to earth simply .... because.... well just because! Who knows why it is, maybe the mask is communicating with it, or you could just ask a Zelda fanboy and they'd give you a masterfully recital that would leave you confused beyond reason, making you want to play the game.
Anyhow, back to the time thing. You have three days, but Link (who was turned into a dooku thingy at the start of the game for no reason that is conceivable, and yet, had he not been turtned into this thing, he would not be able to save the people. Dumb eh?) has a magical whistle (you guessed it, The Orcana Of Time!! Hurray) that allows him to travel BACK in time. This is good because had you not been able to do this, the game's (once again) huge variety of puzzles and trinket collecting, would make it impossible to finish the game. So all in all, they may as well scrap this time thingy because in the end, it doesn't need to be there. Except that on some days, some puzzles are revealed or otherwise beatable that would not have been on monday. Also, you get a bankaccount that keeps your ruppies for you so that you don't lose them when you travel back in time. So when you go back to monday, all your trinkets from tuesday are safe and sound in the bank account as if it's wednesday! You can see the problems here? Good.

Why: Once again, nothing revolutionary for the N64, and certainly no improvement over the Orcana of Time. The same 2-D tree-walls are back with a vengeance. They make sure you follow the path, let me tell you...
Sound: 9
Why: I love the music. I may hate the game, but the music is amazing. More games need music that incorporates with the theme so well. Lack of dialog save for some laughs and giggles keeps this from getting a 10 though.
Value: 6
Why: The game is fun, no doubt about it. It's a cool concept but the cons simply overpower the pros. You have a linear story in an RPG like game, you have plot holes, impossibilities, and illogical puzzles for centuries of headaches.
Reviewer's Tilt: 5
Why: Love the music, hate (for the most part) the game. 5 seems like a pretty good score.
