In my opinion, the best Zelda game made.

Everything about this game captivates me: the music, the game play, the story, the characters, everything. I have been a fan of the Zelda series since LoZ first came to the NES, it was my second game, and my first game for the NES (my first console was the Atari and my first game was Joust). It’s hard to say this is my favorite Zelda game, since all of them have brought so much to the table, each offering a new and exciting experience. But what set this game apart from the others, was that it was darker, and the characters were heavily fleshed out (as were OoT’s but MM improved greatly upon this aspect).
I thought that the way the game play changed when you put on a different mask was brilliant and kept things fresh. I was never bored when playing this game. All the side quests were fantastically created and thought out. This game is quite dated now, so talking about it’s graphics and music is seemingly pointless, but I still enjoy both qualities to this day. I find it incredibly easy for me to play a game like Gears of War and then come back to MM and still be blown away by the story and overall enjoyment I get from the game.
