There is not enough to say about OoT and its many marvels. The amount of time that went into this game must have been stagering, and it took me well over 50 hours to beat it the first time, without doing a large portion of the side quests.

The ability to go between young and old is probably what makes this game so memorable. The change in the abilities between old and young link is definately one of the funnest parts about this game. Doing something as young link to assist you as old link. To see the same people who are down, weary, and sad as old link, who as young link were a thriving bunch of people and happier than a button to help you is comical yet makes sense because of the story.

Don't get me started on the story. I loved every minute of it. Not a slow...dry...dull moment in the entire game. The story continues to progress throughout the game and doesnt let you go until the final boss battle.

The action is definately worthy of a score of 11. The different types of monsters, along with variations on the same kind of monsters keeps you excited to and tensed for what is just around the corner.

The puzzles that are in the various dungeons are definately the best part of the game. Seemingly easy tasks are turned into the hardest life voyage for 2-3 hours and when are completed make you feel like a million bucks... with a boost in life...a new weapon, or a change in the weapon already aquired. The puzzles are better in OoT than in 99% of the action/adventure puzzles in todays game. I had a blast solving them.

Each new personality you meet in this game makes you feel like they should be there, and the game wouldnt be complete without them. The game doesnt make you feel like it is in complete in any way either with regards to characters.

The pinnacle of achievement in the game is the fishing minigame. It is oddly strange how relazxing fishing can be in a game. After a hard days work I turn on my 64 and go to the fishing hole. I cast my line and relax. I find it to be a more rewarding experience than actually fishing.

Overall, if you havent played this game. Do it. If you have this game and haven't played in a while, stop reading this and play it. There aren't enough praises for this game.
