I am partly just writing this review so I can see it on my profile page. I figured why not review the best game I have ever played? This game is the reason it took me 5 years to finish my Master's Thesis (2 years for my PhD). At that time, I played video games casually... taking trips to Blockbuster from time to time to see if I could find something fun to occupy 2-3 days. On one such trip I rented Zelda OoT. I played it 72 hours straight (minus some sleep here and there)... returned it and went straight to EB Games to buy it. Since it was a cartridge based save, I had to start all over, but didn't mind in the least bit.
Besides GTA3, it was the only game I ever became fanatical about. If I wasn't playing the game, I was surely thinking about it.Days turned to nights, nights turned to days. And the cycle continued for months. What to do next? Should I find those hearts/bottles now or later? Feel like fishing? Wanna shoot targets?
So many good memories with this one!!!
