Gamespot hit the nail on the head. "Flawless."
User Rating: 10 | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64
Where do I start? The Ocarina of Time boasts the best graphics and sound quality that were available at that time. They spent big bucks on all that picture quality. Plus, The Ocarina of Time has beautiful orchestrated, Celtic stile music, written by a hired professional, who has done all of the music for the Zelda series since. The storyline is perfection- not too dramatic, but it also has a flavor to it that no other game has. It is worth the purchase. The learning curve? Maybe a half an hour. The amazing plot takes you through childhood, and the young innocense of younger Link, who is about 11. Then, it takes you to the duty and honor of adult Link, known as the legendary hero of time. It is one of the only Zelda games to also have its own sequel, The Wind Waker. You can tell that The Wind Waker is the sequel because of the 6 sages from the Ocarina of Time are on the stained glass windows of the castle. The Wind Waker would be nothing without The Ocarina of Time, who's plot builds such a sturdy base for the Wind Waker, and later, the Phantom Hourglass. If I could, I would give this game an 11 out of ten.
