From the original Zelda adventures in N64... now on Gamecube.
I really have to admit that this is the best Zelda game I've ever played. It features the real Zelda story which I really like.
So yeah, this is the best Zelda game I've ever played, none of the other Zelda games can stand a chance against this one. Although it's a bit old, with some bad graphics (sharp edges and not much details), the gameplay is still awesome. It's a very long game, in the massive world of Hyrule with loads of enemies and temples to cover.
You can travel through time as soon as you've recovered the three elemental stones while you're a kid in Hyrule.
The main enemy in this is, well, the enemy in the real story, Ganondorf. He has taken over the world in the future where you have to travel to to rescue the princess, Zelda, from his madness. You alone, will stand against this evil.
I haven't got much to say about this game than that it's one of the best games I've played, quite the first actually. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes can stand a chance against it I think.
But you should own this even though you're not a Zelda fan.
