Well what can i say, ive played it over 20 times and i still enjoy it!
I have probably spent over 100 hours just replaying this game over and over and over.... and over again. It is amazing to think that such a game could stick so long in my memory. Zelda:OoT is probably the only reason i havent gotten rid of my N64 for another system of somesort.
For its time it had the best graphics, the best gameplay, the hardest puzzles, and the most well balanced seperation of puzzles and battle. The controls were easy to learn and once they were learned, they opened up many options of varied styles, if not being a bit simplistic now that i look back at it, it will always be memorable.
Just the same way that my grandpa talks about pong fondly, i will talk about this game, i can picture it now...
"back in my day, we had a series called Zelda, that series gave us some of the most remember games in our history of gaming, id still play it today, if i could just get the bloody Nintendo64 to work!!"
... that would probably be very close to what I'd say...
Well anyways, back to the review, for all of you who are interested in a great adventure with a good storyline and more then enough replay value, then i suggest you play Zelda:Ocarina of Time, believe me, you won't be disappointed!
