After playing Ocarina of time on N64, I had to play it again on Masters Quest. Wasnt much harder.
Whilst these are the best graphics i've seen on a N64 game (except maybe Conkers BFD and a few others) they could have been redone on Gamecube for slight improvements. The character design is perfect and the game doesnt skip on the smaller detail either.
Gameplay- 10/10
Every aspect of how to game works is excellent, from controls, to movement, to battles and capturing slight realism of reality. Everything just works so well to deliver this masterpeice of a game.
Sound- 9/10
Sorry to say, 9/10. Its music is excellent and the voice work (gasps, battle cries etc.) is a nice touch, and even the simple tunes of the Ocarina are beautiful. But I have one problem, its with the lesser heard noises such as when you are low on health, or the burning of lava that, whilst still fantastic, just didnt cut it.
Overal- 9.9/10 (LOL, .1 short)
This masterpeice of a game rivaled only by FFVII took countless sleep deprived days away from me as I slaved away in front of my TV as my friends and I completed the game one step at a time.
(PS, Water Temple wasnt as hard on Masters Quest. Hmmmm.......)
