Everything you want in a game, and more!!

User Rating: 10 | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64
Gameplay: 10/10

The gameplay here is amazingly flawless. The battle system in the game works very well, and is much changed since the 2D games. Now, instead of being able to swing your sword at enemies with super-human speed, you're moving just as a regular human would. The targeting system used in battle is very much appreciated, because it allows you to aim at objects very easily. A vast world combined with an outstanding story make this game perfect.

Graphics: 10/10

Another big improvement are the graphics. Seeing Link for the first time in 3D, along with everything else, is breathtaking. In a forest, there is a feeling of thickness represented by the trees. Underwater, there is a feeling of blurriness, like when you open you're eyes underwater. It's completely amazing to experience these kind of graphics, when you've been stuck with games for a majority of your life.

Sound: 10/10

The sound in OoT is spectacularly used. Walking on different surfaces makes different sounds for your footsteps. Also, walking with different shoes changes the sound made. The ocarina used to play songs is made so that you don't have to play the songs they give you, but also it gives you a chance to play whatever you like.

Value: 10/10

Besides a very long and hard story, there is also many side quests given to you as both a child and adult. One of the main side quests in the game is to collect Gold Skulltula pieces. Finding Gold Skulltulas are usually hard, but you are rewarded for every 10 that you collect. This will increase the time spent playing alot, even though you spend alot of time just trying to beat the game. As an added surprise, Heart Pieces have been included to expand your Heart Limit, which makes the game a whole lot easier.

Overall: 10/10

This is a great that can be played by many types of gamers. Nowadays, the game is pretty hard to find, so I suggest getting it for the Gamecube or looking for it on Ebay.
