this classic game holds up extremely well to the tests of time making it 1000 points well spent.

User Rating: 9.4 | The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time N64
In the time since the wii launched there haven't been many nintendo 64 games to snatch up. among the ranks available is the legend of zelda: ocarina of time and im pleased to say its held up very well. a masterpiece this huge cannot be tackled all at once so lets draw the battlelines and break it down.

graphics - quite possibly the hardest problem to ignore in this game. at the time it was quite breathtaking and colorfull but compared to newer games it just cant hold a candle.... but that's ok, it doesn't have to and this is already expected. score of 9 for graphics

sound - the other problem in this mix, the midi music does sound well but compared to what we've been listening to it sounds a little grainy and old..... old is the wrong term, in this reference its classic. timeless zelda tunes play much to fans delight and keep the mood of a zelda game complete. these tunes defined a series and kept it fresh and out of date or not they're still timeless and pleasant to hear. score of 9.5 for sound

controls - get used to accidentally using items..... especially if you are using the gamecubes extremely sensitive c-stick for your inventory. the classic controller has a much tighter and easier to use joystick and it shows if you switch back and forth. if there was one thing i didn't like its that you can't configure your own controls as the z - targeting feels.........not right....
score of 9 for controls

gameplay - a major shining point of every zelda game. flush with puzzles, combat, discovery, and secrets this game fills out its pallet with awesomeness as well as every other zelda game does. one hinderence to this however is that the stone of agony cannot be used to find secrets as the rumble does not function dropping my score a bit, however, anytime i get miffed about something simple as that, a duel with a ghost or a mano a mano fight against your very own darkness would always pull me back into the awesomeness of the legendary game. it's simply fantastic, earning itself a high score. 9.8 value - once you beat the game, traditionally there is not really much you can do....... oh wait, i thought i was writing a zone of the enderes review! as in any zelda game you can always go back and find those remaining heart pieces, the tricky biggoron sword quest, finding all the magics, or simply playing it all over again to experience the epicness all over again. at ten bucks this value is insurmountable. 10 i average my score out seerate from gamespots system so ignore everything but the final score on the review. this game has everything thats made the zelda franchise a landmark series. dont hesitate to download this one.... unless you hate fun.
