Phantom Hourglass is a fine follow-up to the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

This game is fun, and kept me immersed in the story the whole way through. It was quirky and cartoonesque enough to be comical, but still serious enough to have an actual story line.

The game controls surprisingly well. As a DS owner, I absolutely hate the touch screen, and I almost refused to buy this game when I learned it was almost 100% touch screen controlled. However, you rarely encounter any problems. A hand cramp at most from holding the DS for a few hours.

I have one major complaint though, that stops this game from being nearly perfect: The Temple of the Ocean King.

I have no idea who came up with this concept. Who at the brainstorming party threw in, "Hey, let's make a temple where you have a time limit, and you have to go through it multiple times, and do the same exact tasks each time."

The final part of the game more than makes up for it, but the Temple of the Ocean King really subtracts from the game.
