An okay game to play but a total letdown to the original zelda fans.

Following massive hype, Skyward Sword presented it's self as a revolutionary work of artistic genius. Upon release, a lot of 14 year olds hyped it even more, but when questioned about what they truly think, they usually agree that it definitely has it's flaws.

Skyward Sword's flaws, while many, may not completely hinder the game, as a lot of people are able to enjoy it. But what about those who felt a huge gash to their heads from it? The folk who've been purchasing zelda games since the 80s and 90s?

These people always agree that SS is yet another kiddifycation of the zelda series and only serves as a cash cow instead of having any spirit like the originals did.

Throughout the game, I was tasked with executing hundreds of tedious and repetitive tasks that serve no innovation whatsoever and only serve to waste your time. I also had to deal with constant bickering by Fi (this game's navi, but on sterioids) telling me obvious things that I already established moments to minutes before she did. I also dealt with incredibly short dungeons that don't make maximum potential out of the situations they present, and mediocre-at best boss fights.

I also dealt with countless annoying and autistic animals that bickered at me and made me do even more repetitive and tedious tasks, and an empty world.

I say empty, because there are literally only a dozen or two people to talk to in the entire game. There are two types of worlds in the game, though, so wouldn't that make it larger? The answer is no. Really, all you have in the game is the skyland which features, two, three, a dozen islands? Only three have any content and two of them are just the main town (and only town) for the game.

So, what about the other 'world', the main overworld? The answer is that there are only 4 levels to them and they feature 1/8th as much as any level in any game. What's worse is that the game forces you to backtrack and cycle through each level upwards to 6 to 8 times!

All in all, this is definitely not the best zelda game by far and isn't better than most other games, and in no way whatsoever is better than ocarina of time like a lot of you little guys like to say.
