It is a good Zelda game (no surprise there), it incorporates elements from past Zelda games with some new ideas. Skyward Swords blends the visuals from Twilight Princess with the visuals of Wind Waker, resulting in a mature/cartoonish style for Link. The storyline is pretty cool, the dungeons are not the hardest but they still are challenging (the last one is very tricky, but not trickier than the last temple in Ocarina of Time, or the Water Temple). Everything about this game is cool and entertaining. There are only two minus for me in Skyward Sword. First was the "Wii motion Plus". I think it is cool that Link's moves depend on how you wield the control but, in my case, the motion plus needs to be recalibrated very often and it is annoying when it happens in the middle of a boss fight, or when you are flying. Because of this, sometimes you are not able to slash your sword the way you want it, the way you are doing it. I think the way they incorporated the movement of the Wii controller on Twilight Princess was good enough. Second, I don't get why they had to make Ghirahim so gay, was it really necessary? Besides those two details, it is a good Legend of Zelda game. IMO it is not better than Twilight Princess, but it is still a good game.
