An excellent Zelda game that is addicting, unique, story driven, and very fun. One of the best Zelda games there is.
Spirit Tracks, like every other Zelda game, puts you in the shoes of Link and in a dangerous world full of monsters and various other dangers. This time around, there is a new companion, and no, she is not a fairy. She is none other than Princess Zelda herself. She has been separated from her body and is reduced to nothing but a mere spirit that only Link and a few other special beings can see. By traveling to various realms in the world and talking to the sage unique to that realm, Link is able to restore the Spirit Tracks leading to the various dungeons that have always been a staple of the series. All of the dungeons will have a very familiar feel if you are a long time Zelda fan.
In terms of the graphics and sound, Spirit Tracks looks amazing compared to most other portable games out there, with a few exceptions. Some of the music and all of the sound have been recycled from Phantom Hourglass, but I think that's kind of hard to criticize because it was all so great to begin with. Also, the game uses the same touch screen controls as it's predecessor, which is by no means a bad thing seeing as how it was already so great to begin with. However, since this is a review, you have to criticize something, so I am going to complain about those annoying demon trains that I have struggled so much with. They have made me want to give my console a toss so many times by the fact that if you end up colliding with one, you have to start your train trek all over again, but that's a very small complaint in one of the games that I am very proud to own.
In the end, The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is an excellent game that is sure to please any fan of action-adventure games or anyone that just wants to have a rocking-good time.
