Believe it or not, this is the first Legend of Zelda game I've ever played. I'm not disappointed

Yes, that's right. Even though I've owned a SNES, N64, Game Boy and Gamecube this is the first Legend of Zelda I've ever played. Honestly, I'm not sure how I missed out on all the others but now I sure wish I hadn't Gameplay - 8 Windwaker is a very fun game. Like I said I've never played a LOZ before so getting used to the controller took a while but it works surprisingly well. It's got the best puzzles and dungeons I've ever seen in a game and the boss battles are incredible. However, sailing around on the boat gets tiresome and the battles get sorta repetitive. Also, the game is a little too easy, my 11 year old brother looks like a pro playing this game. Graphics - 9 Well, having never played a LOZ game before I didn't really care when I heard this game was going to be cell shaded. I must say it works really well, especially when enemies burst into puffs of smoke. Only minor problem is that a few of the designs are too repetitive, especially the ocean. Sound - 10 Really nothing wrong with the sound in the game. It's got catchy tunes, nice sound effects, and Link's battle cries are hilarious. Value - 9 It took me 17 hours to get 16 hearts, max rupees/bombs/arrows,etc, complete most mini games/side quests, and chart every single island so it's quite a lengthy game. It would seem like the game would be short if you rushed through but lots of the extra stuff isn't really extra and almost required in order for you to beat the game. Reviewer's Tilt - 9 I was quite pleased with the Windwaker, especially since I got it for $20. There were some aspects the game could have improved on but for the most part it deserves the recognition it received. Windwaker has made me a LOZ fan and I can't wait for the next one.
