Everyone with a brain loves the Legend of Zelda series, and this one is no different from the rest. Absolutely incredible. Many were sceptacle about this game once they saw the graphics. Haven't you hear the saying?: "Don't judge a game by it's graphics!"....wait...that's not it...oh well. The Wind Waker takes place many years after the days of the Hero of Time. The land of Hyrule and all the lands around it are now under the sea and now many scattered islands is all that remains of the once gigantic kingdom. You assume the role of one who looks like Link, but it really a boy from one of the islands. You take the hero of time's clothes (duplicate clothes not the actual ones) because it is that time in a boys life where he gets to dress like the hero of time. Soon pirates, giant birds, open waters, talking boat, and the obvious dungeons and temples become part of your life. Wait, what just happened? Why do you all of a sudden go off adventuring on your birthday? Oh, ok Link's sister has been carried off by some giant bird. That explains a lot. In your quest for restorance of the land and the rescuing of your sister you will encounter many troubles and exciting things throughout the GIANT open waters. It will takes you 30 minutes of non-stop sailing to get from the top of the map to the bottom, but that's assuming that you don't stop to smell the roses. If you don't have this game and own a Gamecube, tu eres un puto stupido! Gameplay: The same gameplay that everyone loves from Ocarnia of Time and Majora's mask, but with some new features. Now there is a parry attack which lets you dodge an enemy attack and hit them, and for some enemies it breaks their armor. This new feature may sound easy, but it can be blocked, counter-attacked, or stopped. Timing is crucial too when it comes to mastering the parry attack. And the magic spin move that was so popular? Well it's definently worth the title of "spin". Link this time spins around like mad but gets dizzy making you vulnerable for a few seconds. The giant open waters of the land are very cool to sail and you'll always want to stop at that one random island to go exploring. Graphics: Yes they are cell-shaded and very cartoony, but it looks incredable. You won't be dissapointed by the graphics I promise you, they are very well done and shapes in the game are flawless. No rough edges anywhere! The water is probably the greatest looking out of everything because of such detail that was put not only into the look but the "attitude" of the ocean: the way it creates waves and ripples that not only effect the way things look but also how your boat sails. Sound: Everything sounds great and true to the series. Music sounds classic and there is some new songs that are superb in themselves. Another great part of the game that won't have you dissapointed. Value: It's a long game and has a butt-load of side quests and there is one unlockable! Tilt: ...Come on now, it's Zelda for chrissake! Overall: Another great Zelda game. Definently a must-have.
