The WInd Waker's graphical style is not at all an issue as it detracts nothing from its greatness and quickly grows on you and feels appropriate. That needs to be undrstood before anything else is said. The sailing mechanic also is integral and odd at first but you quickly get used to it. Not everyone will like it though as it is time consuming. I enjoyed exploring the huge world though and finding everything. The number of dungeons is small but they are well-designed as are the bosses. The story also ties nicely in to that of the N64 Zelda games. The games music and graphics are very good from a technical standpoint even if you dont like their styles and the game world is full of interesting locations and secrets. The end kind of drags while you search for triforce pieces and collect money to get charts deciphered. I would have liked a longer game with more dungeons but The Wind Waker is still one of the best games of this generation.
